The meeting is scheduled for 24 June, White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said on Tuesday.
“President Bush looks forward to discussing with President Musharraf regional and international issues,” he said.
The two heads of states will discuss the “whole gambit of bilateral relations, the fights against terrorism, Pakistan-Indian relationship, developments in Afghanistan and the situation in the post-war Iraq,” a senior Pakistani foreign ministry official said.
The last visit that Musharraf made to the United States was in September. The US considers him a “stalwart ally” in its war on “terror”.
