Talia and Taline Ahmad Samir, aged six months, arrived in Cairo aboard a Saudi commercial flight with their mother and grandmother.
They were dressed identically in pink dresses and pink socks with a pink band around their heads.
They were born joined at the chest, but a Saudi medical team led by surgeon Abd Allah bin Abd al-Aziz al-Rabia successfully separated them in early October.
The operation was paid for by the kingdom’s Crown Prince Abd Allah bin Abd al-Aziz.
