He also sees how children are determined to go to school despite scorching heat and insufficient government support.
These children are painfully aware that without an education, their prospects of living a more desirable life are all but lost.
The presence of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as ISIS) in the region has severely complicated the Iraqi people’s feelings of safety and security, and has significantly restricted the mobility of refugees and journalists.
