FBL-UEFA-BRITAIN-CONGRESS
There was lots of football news this week with the UEFA Congress being held in Central London. UEFA welcomed Gibraltar as the 54th official footballing nation and also announced that the winners of the Europa League will get an automatic ticket into the Champions League from 2015. That deserves a high five.

Borussia Dortmund v FC Bayern Muenchen - UEFA Champions League Final
An all-German final arrived at Wembley as Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich clashed in the Champions League. It was one man who made the difference on the night - with Arjen Robben scoring a crucial late goal after an exhilarating match of high quality football. 
FBL-EUR-C1-DORTMUND-BAYERN
The kings of European football - Bayern Munich - are now on the cusp of the treble needing victory over Stuttgart in the German Cup to give manager Jupp Heynckes the perfect leaving present. Pep Guardiola will soon be in charge of the Bundesliga and Champions League champs. 
Monaco Formula One Grand Prix
And so to Monaco and the most glamorous race on the calendar. Mercedes were the team to beat in practice and qualifying with Nico Rosberg finishing on pole ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton.   
F1 Grand Prix of Monaco - Race
Rosberg led from start to finish to follow in the footsteps of his father Keke Rosberg - who had won the race 30 years earlier. It was Rosberg(***)s second GP win and came in the principality where he grew up. However, the race wasn(***)t without controversy with Red Bull launching a protest about Mercedes tyre testing.
Vincenzo Nibali
Another home victory came as Vincenzo Nibali celebrated with the Giro d(***)Italia trophy. It was the Italian(***)s first win at the event and it came ever so easily - he finished nearly five minutes ahead of his closest rival. Britain(***)s Mark Cavendish was the winner of the red points jersey.

BMW PGA Championship - Day Four
Another Italian victory came only hours later as Matteo Manassero became the youngest winner of the PGA Championship at Wentworth. He beat Britain(***)s Simon Khan with a birdie four in their sudden death playoff. Manassero became the second Italian to win the trophy after former Ryder Cup player Costantino Rocca.
