About 2.9 million residents have had their lives disrupted by the downpours and flash floods in 33 provinces.

Almost 5,000 roads and about 200 bridges have been damaged, the Disaster Prevention and Relief Department said.
Thai authorities said floodwaters were threatening a large industrial estate southeast of Bangkok.
The government has said that Bangkok would likely be spared from major flooding this year.
Floods are an annual occurrence in Thailand.
In 2011, 813 people were killed nationwide and economic losses topped $40bn.
