55,000 people were expected at the four day event, which takes place on the Isle of Wight every year, but torrential rains turned the festival into a fiasco.

Those trying to get to the festival in Newport were confronted with mile-upon-mile of traffic jams. The queues had a knock-on effect on the ferry services, which had to be suspended, forcing hundred to spend the night in the Solent.

So much for the pathway. Imagine a night in the tents...
Air guitar, muddy feet.
He may be staggering through the mud but nothing can slow down this lightning-fast guitarist.
