The dodgy summer continues across the UK
The Isle of Wight Music Festival is turned into a mud bath.

Published On 23 Jun 2012
55,000 people were expected at the four day event, which takes place on the Isle of Wight every year, but torrential rains turned the festival into a fiasco.
Those trying to get to the festival in Newport were confronted with mile-upon-mile of traffic jams. The queues had a knock-on effect on the ferry services, which had to be suspended, forcing hundred to spend the night in the Solent.
