Yemen(***)s army reportedly recaptured the last al-Qaeda stronghold in Abyan province on Friday. The southern towns of Zinjibar and Jaar had been under al-Qaeda control for about a year, but chaos in Yemen had prevented its national army from taking effective action until recently.
