Seven winners from seven races so far but will we have eight from eight.

Sebastian Vettel dominated the 2011 Formula One season claiming his second title in Japan with four races to go. There were only four occasions the German did not secure pole and he won a remarkable 11 races. But a year on, and how things would change!

Vettel showers down McLaren driver Jenson Button - the winner of the opening race - at the Australian Grand Prix. However, there was nothing shocking about the British driver winning the race as he had finished second in 2011.

Malaysian F1 Grand Prix - Race
Ferrari recorded a shock early victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix with Fernando Alonso claiming his second race win since the start of 2011. Two races over and there was still no sign of Red Bull or Sebastian Vettel.

Things got a little strange at the Chinese GP. First Nico Rosberg took Mercedes to their first pole position since 2010, and then he recorded their first win as a constructor since Juan Manuel Fangio won the 1955 Italian GP. But still no Vettel...
Bahrain F1 Grand Prix - Race
However, the reigning world champ returned to the top of the podium after a controversial Bahrain Grand Prix. Amid public protests, Vettel won Red Bull(***)s first race of the season becoming the fourth winner in as many races.
Spanish F1 Grand Prix - Race
F1 celebrated five winners from five races and an unlikely winner at the Spanish GP. Pastor Maldonado drove a superb race to finish ahead of the pack. It was Williams(***) first win in 130 GP starts and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez declared a national holiday to celebrate.
Monaco Formula One Grand Prix
Red Bull were back in business at the Monaco GP when Australian Mark Webber made it six from six and promptly jumped into the pool. The result put Red Bull further ahead in the constructors championship but the drivers standings was wide open.

Canadian F1 Grand Prix - Race
Those wanting yet another race winner were cheering on Lewis Hamilton in Canada - the only other driver expected to win. And the Brit didn(***)t disappoint making it eight from eight. Here he celebrates with McLaren Principal Martin Whitmarsh who is enjoying the unpredictable season.
