Bafana Bafana
Hosts Bafana Bafana almost got the perfect draw in Group A as they aim to repeat their 1996 home victory. They are favourites to top the table leaving Angola and Morocco to fight for second place with Cape Verde unlikely to impress [EPA]
Ghana AFrica Cup of Nations
Ghana top Group B and, having finished third, second and fourth in the last three tournaments are desperate to end 31 years without a trophy. They will face Mali, DR Congo and Niger [EPA]
Zambia Africa Cup of Nations
Group C is shaping up to be an interesting battleground. Defending champions Zambia and Nigeria are likely to fight for top spot and Burkina Faso and Ethiopa will likely end up trying to avoid last spot. Whoever tops the table could dodge Ivory Coast in the quarters [EPA]
Egypt Africa Cup of Nations
Former champions Egypt and Cameroon are notable absentees - both failing to qualify for the second consecutive time - and 2012 co-hosts Equatorial Guinea and Gabon did not make it either [GETTY]
