Adventurers recreate 1931 Arabian desert trip on camels
Group completes the 1,300km dry and inhospitable route from Oman to Qatar in 49 days.

A group of adventurers have recreated an epic journey by crossing the vast stretch of Arabian desert known as the “Empty Quarter”.
The 1,300km trip from Oman to Qatar was last completed in 1931.
