Banksy’s ‘Dismaland’ draws curious crowds to UK resort

Street artist converts former open-air swimming pool in Somerset into thought-provoking and disturbing installation.

The British street artist Banksy has unveiled his first major UK show in six years.

The artist, who has remained anonymous for years, has converted a former open-air swimming pool into a disturbing and thought-provoking installation called ‘Dismaland’.

The ‘theme park’ in the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare in Somerset is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of visitors during its six-week run.
