People around the world reflect on the effects of the September 11, 2001, attacks in interviews with Al Jazeera.

In the lead up to the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, Al Jazeera asked people around the globe to reflect on the effect those events had on the world around them.

The interviewees ranged from former ambassadors and presidents to school teachers and shopkeepers.
