Aspiring filmmakers debut at TriBeca

Filmmakers are hitting their stride at the New York film festival in hopes of making it big.

The New York film festival is seen as a springboard for filmmakers with many hoping for their big break.

This year the festival received more than 6,000 submissions from 40 countries.

One successful submission was Summer of Blood a low-budget romantic comedy with a vampire twist.
