Musical bidding war over revered piano-maker
Music lovers hope high standards of world-renowned Steinway and Sons will be maintained as assets are up for grabs.

The world renowned piano-maker Steinway and Sons is being sold.
The company has agreed to a $438m offer by the private equity firm Kohlberg and Co, but has until Wednesday to entertain other bids.
