Cuba’s filmmakers pursue celluloid dreams
Annual Latin American film fest opens doors to new wave of young and independent cinema in communist state.

Cuban cinema has had a history of highs and lows, often struggling through the country’s economic and political turmoil.
Now the island is hosting a film festival, which is giving a number of local filmmakers an opportunity to voice their optimism.
