Thousands of people have taken part in Calabash, a three-day literary festival on Jamaica’s south coast.
The island’s first, and now largest such festival, is seen as a celebration of the spirit of the country.
Musicians and authors from Jamaica and around the world attend the annual event to pay homage to the written and spoken word.
