Shocking US campaign for smokers to quit
Provocative new adds aims at discouraging people from lighting up.

Smoking kills about half a million people every year in the United States and yet warning labels and higher taxes do not seem to be discouraging people from lighting up.
So now the government is starting an advertising campaign to shock people into quitting as cases of cancer and diseases increase.
Al Jazeera’s Scott Heidler reports from New York.
