Michael Jackson’s doctor goes on trial
Defence says King of Pop self-administered lethal dose when Conrad Murray went on a bathroom break.

The drama and intrigue that followed pop legend Michael Jackson is continuing more than two years after his death, with his doctor appearing in the dock in Los Angeles facing charges of involuntary manslaughter.
Conrad Murray is accused of killing the pop star in 2009 through gross negligence, but the doctor’s lawyer told the court the pop star killed himself.
