In search of a social life in Kashmir

Youth look for a place to hang out in Kashmir – to meet friends, to chill like they do in the movies. It is a public holiday and three friends head out. But the movie theatres have turned into hospitals. The coffee shops host empty chairs. And the shopping malls are closed. What kind of place is this? “It feels as if this place sells only disappointment.”
