Yemen crisis ‘far from reaching end’

Opposition politician accuses President Saleh of insisting on “drawing the whole country towards war”.

Abdul Rahman Bafadil, a Yemeni opposition leader and member of the country’s parliament, spoke to Al Jazeera about the ongoing political situation in Yemen.

The crisis comes after four months of nationwide protests calling for the ouster of Ali Abdullah Saleh, the president of Yemen.

Bafadil told Al Jazeera the crisis is far from reaching its end because “[Saleh] is insisting on drawing the whole country towards war”.
