Canada plays host to India’s Bollywood awards
Industry hopes to tap into North American market by bringing its stars to Toronto.

The stars of Indian cinema have turned out for their biggest awards night, but not in Mumbai or New Delhi, rather in Toronto, Canada.
Bollywood spends an estimated $120m annually on making films abroad and the Canadian city is hoping to pick up a share of that investment.
For Indian cinema, it is another step in their effort to tap into the lucrative North American market.
