US blues town residents upbeat about economy

Mississippi delta town of Clarksdale credits music with fuelling an economic recovery.

The Mississippi delta in the US is known as the birthplace of blues, and the town of Clarksdale is said to be where it all started.

For years, the town has been stuck in poverty, but now the music it gave to the world is helping fuel its recovery.

Al Jazeera’s Adam Raney reports from Clarksdale.
