Orchestra made up of inmates holds first concert in Philippine maximum security prison.

A symphony orchestra has performed its first concert in a maximum security prison in Manila.
But it is no ordinary band – its members are inmates, many serving life sentences for violent crimes.
And as Al Jazeera’s Marga Ortigas reports, the project aims to use batons wielded by conductors instead of guards to reform the convicts.
