Girl-band tests Myanmar limits

Pop band pushes boundaries in a country where citizens have only limited freedom.

Myanmar’s pop band Tiger Girls is breaking new territory and pushing the boundaries of what is considered acceptable for the country’s young.

Modelled after the Spice Girls, the internationally acclaimed British pop group, the Tiger Girls aspire to stretch their paws around the globe.

Al Jazeera’s special correspondent in Myanmar reports from Yangon, the capital.
