Second-hand clothes sent by charities in rich countries give local garment manufacturers tough competition.

During the holiday season, charities receive lots of second-hand clothes from donors in rich countries. Much of it ends up in Africa. As Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque discovered in the Senegalese capital Dakar, the clothes are giving the local garment manufacturers a run for their money.
