Ghana facing healthcare funding crisis
Hospitals, clinics and pharmacies experiencing dire financial difficulties as government fails to reimburse them.

Hospitals, clinics and pharmacies in Ghana are fast running out of funds to continue operating.
Many have not received payments owed to them by the government under a national health insurance scheme, and if they are forced to close or scale down operations it could affect millions who rely on public healthcare services.
