Backers of Great Renaissance project insist Africa’s biggest dam construction will have benefits beyond Ethiopia.

Ethiopia’s plans to build Africa’s biggest dam may threaten economic growth.
The country has one of the continent’s fastest growing non-oil producing economies. But analysts believe the Great Renaissance Dam project could stifle it.
The Ethiopian government, however, insists that project will have benefits beyond Ethiopia.
