Moldovan businesses fear costs of EU deal
Cash-strapped, small-scale producers fear costs of EU regulations would be a burden.

The former Soviet republic of Moldova is negotiating an association agreement with the EU.
Such an agreement would bring it in line with European standards and regulations.
That is worrying some producers, such as Moldova’s beekeepers, who say they will not be able to afford the cost of keeping up.
