Mexico vigilantes claim victory over cartels

Federal police in western Mexico have seized rocket launchers and guns in a city that vigilantes and security forces claimed to have liberated from the powerful Knights Templar Cartel.

The government is trying to integrate thousands of vigilantes across Michoacan into a rural police force but so far only 900 have registered their arms and signed up.
