Wind energy to meet Pakistan’s power crisis
Pakistan is developing new sources of power to help tackle a massive energy shortfall.

In a country where power outages are very common due to a massive electricity shortage in the country, Pakistan’s government is looking at alternative sources of electricity.
A 160 km wind corridor is proving a new energy hub with dozens of companies, including those from countries like China, who are planning to develop wind farms to meet the country’s energy needs.
Nicole Johnston reports from a wind farm in the Sindh Province.
