US minimum wage increases met with criticism
Politicians are increasingly speaking out about income inequality, but experts say agreed pay hikes are not enough.

Around 2.5 million low-income workers in the US will get better salaries this year. Thirteen states have increased their minimum wage and others may soon follow.
But many argue that increases will not be not enough.
