Bolivia observes miniature fest for good luck

Ancient indigenous tradition celebrated in capital La Paz by people in hope of acquiring the real thing.

Every year Bolivians celebrate an ancient indigenous tradition where they buy miniature versions of real things.

The Alasitas Festival is held in the capital La Paz, and sells everything from tiny replica bank notes to cars, and even houses.

According to popular belief, once bought and blessed, it will help you acquire the real thing.
