Austerity hits Spain’s young

After years of austerity, more than 55 half of young people are unemployed and 30 percent of children live in poverty.

More than half of Spain’s young people are unemployed and 30 percent of its children live in poverty after years of fiscal austerity.

The country’s centre-right ruling party is claiming success in reducing the country’s crippling debt but for the country’s young, the future looks bleak.
