UK conservatives celebrate economic growth

Britain’s Conservative party, which is holding a general meeting in Manchester, is claiming victory in the policy debate between budget cuts and economic growth.

The UK’s economy has been showing signs of improvement, but questions remain about the ramifications of austerity policies on those that they have hit hardest.
