Voters in Germany go to the polls this weekend for national elections, but their decision will be felt elsewhere in Europe.
The campaign is being closely watched in Greece.
Although Germany has contributed to two bailout loans to Greece, Chancellor Angela Merkel’s austerity policies are widely blamed for huge spending cuts.
