US urges Russia to send Snowden back

Russian decision may allow the ex-US intelligence contractor to seek permanent refuge in another country.

The US is disappointed by the Russian decision to grant temporary asylum to whistleblower Edward Snowden.   

Snowden is wanted by the US for leaking secret surveillance data to the media, but Russia’s decision could allow the former intelligence contractor to seek permanent refuge in another country.
