French president’s wine up for grabs

Francois Hollande is auctioning 1,200 bottles of fine wine to free up money for a more modest cellar.

The age of austerity has hit the French president’s wine cellars.

Francois Hollande’s official residence, the Elysee Palace, is putting some of its finest vintages up for auction.

The money will go towards some more modest bottles for the president’s table.
