As unemployment reaches record levels in its third year of recession, many question merits of austerity.

Portugal economy has been shrinking for three straight years.
Recession is driving prices up and unemployment to record levels.
The country has undergone a painful period of austerity to try to reduce its debt.
But many Portuguese are starting to ask if austerity is worth the pain.
