Hong Kong dock strike ends
Partial victory declared by workforce who won a 10 per cent pay rise after 40-day strike whose impact is being assessed.

Dock workers in Hong Kong have returned to work after a 40-day strike. They say they have won a partial victory after being awarded a nearly 10 percent pay rise. The city is now assessing the long-term impact of the dispute that pitted the dock workers against Hong Kong’s richest man.
