Germany’s airline workers halt work over pay

Lufthansa workers strike for second time in a month demanding for pay increase over several years.

Employees at Germany’s biggest airline Lufthansa are on a 24-hour strike demanding for a pay increase of more than five percent over several years.

The protest began after three rounds of talks between the management and workers broke down.

This is the second strike in just over a month, causing some problems for travellers.
