Sydney gets its own hanging gardens

A 14-storey tower with vines, ferns and flowers is part of growing trend for greening buildings’ facades.

The hanging gardens of Sydney’s new ‘One Central Park’ tower are attracting a lot of attention, especially from people with green fingers and deep pockets.

Designers say the exclusive 14-storey tower’s vertical gardens will become their own “eco-system”. But you’ll need a lot of money to live in this urban jungle – apartments start at $750,000.
