US government to severely cut back benefits
Although 48 million Americans depend on government benefits for food, Congress has legislated severe cutbacks.

Forty-eight million Americans depend on the government to help them put food on the table.
Those benefits, however, are soon to be seriously cut back. They’ve come under the knife of Congress, as legislators look for ways to cut government costs.
