Ukraine explores energy independence

European country attempting to increase domestic energy production to decrease dependence on Russian imports.

Ukraine, once part of the Soviet Union, is trying to step away from its dependence on Russia as an energy supplier.

Al Jazeera’s Nick Spicer reports from the Ukraine.
