Obama’s absence overshadows APEC summit
Leaders commit to global economic growth despite absence of US President from summit.

Twenty-one world leaders have promised to increase trade in order to boost the global economy.
The pledge was made at the end of the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in Bali.
But the summit failed to agree on crucial trade pacts because of the absence of US President Barack Obama.
