Trauma haunts Syrian children in Turkey

Teachers use songs and games to help Syrian children get over their fears after leaving conflict zone.

Turkey’s refugee camps now hold around 80,000 from Syria.

A large percentage of them are children who are having to deal with the painful memories of the life they left behind.

Inside the refugee camp’s classrooms, the teachers and social workers use songs and games as therapy to help their young students get over their fears.

Al Jazeera’s Sue Turton reports from Kilis, Turkey.
