Protesters win price cuts in the West Bank
Palestinian Authority makes concessions to quell public anger caused by high prices and low salaries.

A week of protests in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian West Bank over high living costs has led to the government making some concessions.
Among them is a cut in fuel prices: the state value-added tax will decrease by half a per cent next month.
