Indonesia ‘purge’ victims seek justice
Half a million people were reportedly killed in one of this century’s ‘bloodiest tragedies’.

A new report is expected to accuse the Indonesian government of atrocities during its anti-communist purge 50 years ago.
An estimated 500,000 people were killed in the violence perpetrated by soldiers and youth groups. Some of the victims and their families are still seeking justice. They want compensation for losing jobs, pensions and possessions.
