Myanmar reforms see dramatic rise in tourism
Industry up by 50 per cent in 2011 after army-backed government’s decision to begin opening up country.

Myanmar is seeing the rewards of political reforms in the form of tourist dollars.
The military-backed administration has been opening the country up since elections in late 2010, leading to a 50 per cent increase in tourism in 2011.
