UN to vote on decades-old US embargo of Cuba

Cubans are calling for the end to the trade embargo imposed by the United States after the 1959 revolution.

Many Cubans feel the sanctions are outdated and are thwarting development and economic growth on the island.

The United Nations is to vote on a resolution condemning the blockade on Tuesday.
