German e-bikes charge into European markets

Electric bicycles, costing as much as $5,000, only give power on demand but can reach speeds of 45kph.

They have two wheels and can get you from one place to another with no effort, and they are taking Europe by storm.

They are electric-powered bicycles, which are being built with the help of the multinational firm Daimler Benz. 

The bikes, which cost as much as $5,000, only help cyclists pedal if they want them to, but their motors can effortlessly push up to 45km per hour.
